Nila is a south Indian actress who made her debut in movies by appearing in a Tamil film 'Anbe Aaruyire' in 2007. That film was a hit and she got lot of offers in Tamil and also from other south indian lanugages. In 2007, she made her debut in Telugu by acting in 'Bangaram'. She later acted in movies like Vaana and Maaro in Telugu.
Nila was born on July 8, 1983 as Meera Chopra in Delhi. In addition to acting, she is also managing a hotel business in Delhi.
