Ananya is a South Indian actress who made her debut in movies with the Malayalam film 'Positive' in 2008. Eventhogh her debut movie was not a success, she got offers from Malayalam and from other language also. In 2009, she made her debut in Tamil with the film 'Naadodigal'. That movie was a financial success and her performance was appreciated. Later this movie was remade in Malayalam as 'Ithu Nammude Katha'.
In 2012, she has lot of movies in her hand, both in Malayalam and Tamil. Her upcoming movies includes Masters, Achan Balan Makan Bheeman, Ameya and Mullamottum Mundiricharum in Malayalam, Iravum Pagalum in Tamil and Gokulakrishna in Kannada.
Ananya is born as Ayilya Nair on 29 March 1987 in Perumbavoor, Kerala to Gopalakrishnan Nair and Praseetha. She has completed her B.A in Communicative English from St. Xaviers college Aluva. She has one brother who is doing his Engineering.
