Sandhya is a South Indian actress who has appeared in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu films. She made her debut by appearing in a Tamil movie Kaadhal in 2004. For her performance in that movie she won Filmfare Best Tamil Actress Award Tamil Nadu State Film Special Award for Best Actress. In 2005, she made her debut in Malayalam films by acting in Alice in Wonderland as Jayaram's Sister.
Sandhya is well known for her performance in the Tamil film Dishyum opposite Jeeva, for which she won Tamil Nadu State Film Special Award for Best Actress. After which she has appeared in movies like Vallavan and Kannamoochi Yenada in Tamil and Cycle, Sahasram and Traffic in Malayalam. Her upcoming movies includes D-17 in Malayalam and Nootrukku Nooru in Tamil.
Sadhya was born on 27 September 1988 in Chennai as Revathi.
